The number one goal in most people's lives is to make as much money and be as successful as they possiblycan be. This is a great goal; unfortunately, many people don't acheive it. They gotexcellent grades in school, went to good colleges, and got great-paying jobs. They worked hard to achieve their goals.
One reason people don't make a lot of money is because, when they're young, they set unrealistically highgoals for themselves. Goals they probably won't achieve. They'll go as far as to slack off or quit schooljust to practice in order to achieve their goal. They don't realize that the chances of getting what theywant is slim to none, and by the time they do realize that, it's often too late to change the paths oftheir lives. When it's not too late, many people are discouraged from not being who they want to be, and they give up altogether.

Or, as with many people, you can start outsmall and work hard to earn promotions, raises, and higher positions. The harder you work, the more moneyyou will make and the higher positions will become available to you. You will be successful in your career,and you will be one of the few folks living their dream. The key here is to not give up. Keep searching,trying, and working hard. You must be willing to do whatever it takes in order to achieve your goal. Butremember to set goals you can do, not goals that can be done just by falling backwards into fortune, becausemore than likely that won't happen.
